- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop and Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
