- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the flour, ground black sesame seeds, and salt until just combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Gently flatten each ball with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
