Sticky Honey Garlic Beef with Crispy Sesame Potatoes
Ella Cooks
This Sticky Honey Garlic Beef is packed with bold, caramelized flavors, featuring tender soy-glazed beef strips coated in a rich honey garlic sauce. Paired with crispy sesame potatoes, this dish combines sweet, savory, and crunchy textures, making it better than takeout and perfect for weeknight dinners.
In a large bowl, toss halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Spread them out on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and sesame seeds, then broil for extra crispiness.
Step 2: Cook the Sticky Honey Garlic Beef
In a bowl, toss thinly sliced beef with cornstarch until evenly coated. This helps the sauce cling to the beef and gives it a crispy texture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Sear the beef in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the beef to the pan, tossing to coat it in the sticky sauce.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
Step 3: Assemble & Serve
Serve the sticky honey garlic beef alongside the crispy sesame potatoes.
Garnish with extra sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
Enjoy immediately while hot!
